These works on paper combine acrylic paint and plants. The plants are either roadside weeds or seaweeds that are dried and pressed and adhered to the paper after painting. They were originally developed during a residency at Arte Studio Ginestrelle in Assisi, Italy. I hadn't thought at the time that they would need to be declared as dangerous vegetable matter on return to Australia. The Customs people sent them off to be irradiated with gamma rays, so thankfully they are now safe for public display in Australia. The ones including seaweed were created at a later date. l exhibited these at DuckRabbit Gallery Sydney in 2018.
